  1985 Chestnut 14.2 H Sire: Registered Morgan Dam: Registered Morgan Danser was my very first Morgan. I had always wanted a horse, and had loved the Morgan since seeing the movie "Justin Morgan Had A Horse". When my parents finally relented to my constant request for a horse for my birthday, I was thrilled when I learned that my Dad wanted to get me a Morgan. Jim Smyth of Kennedy, SK was a nearby breeder and we brought Danser & a Morgan/Welsh cross gelding (Wandering Mist) home that autumn. Danser has not had a lot of training over the years, but he loves to work cattle, and has also been used to haul logs from the bush. Surely, there could not be a better representative of the breed than Danser, who nickers at you if you are not quick enough saddling him up and never wants to go home once you have him out riding. While he is not registered, he is a purebred and I would dearly love to be able to trace his bloodlines. Maybe some day I will find the person who knows the Smyth Morgans and can help me out!
